TabTrade - What Traders Should Know
Tab Trade - The Short Version
TabTrade.com launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the New Zealand-regulated broker.
His background tells you something. It means the person running this is not figuring it out from scratch. That is not a guarantee. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
What You Trade On
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Faster charting. Native automated trading. Many people prefer it after using both.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for bots but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is said to be in the works. That would round things out when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the actual interbank spread is often below 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
The execution is the area where TabTrade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. The average platform run hundreds of milliseconds.
Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
Here is the part that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If that is a dealbreaker, stop reading. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
That said. Benjamin Boulter came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense is your call.
Welcome Offer
Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before you commit.
